ABOUT SUPER HEROES FOR CHILDREN'S FOUNDATION

The Super Heroes For Children Foundation, was founded and formed by the Atlanta Batman in 2015 from a previous offshoot non-profit foundation known as SHROCKS, Super Heroes Reaching out to Children and KidS.

It too was formed and founded by the Atlanta Batman in 2012. The foundation success lasted 2.5 years and raised over $5000.00 in the Metro-Atlanta communities which in-turn was all donated to children's non-profit charities and no-kill animal shelters.

In 2015, two board members resigned to relocate to different parts of the country and the SHROCKS foundation was dismantled after the finances were cleared with the remaining foundation's digital assets being relinquished as property belonging to the Atlanta Batman.

Shortly after the dissolve, the Atlanta Batman took the remaining digital assets and the Super Heroes for Children Foundation was born. SHFC served the metro-Atlanta area from 2015 to 2018, when Atlanta Batman retired and hung the cape up for good after serving the needs of the sick children and helping fight animal abuse. He served as a watchful guardian for 6 years after first seeing his vision of making a positive change. Prior to becoming the Atlanta Batman, the Georgia Crusader served as a public safety officer for 30 years in the Metro-Atlanta area in the dual role as a police officer and firefighter/EMT with an additional 3 years in Florida working as a volunteer civilian animal wildlife rescue officer.

And so now comes the time when the bat-torch is passed on to another who dons the mask as the Georgia Batman now steps in to take over the reins of the Atlanta Batman to continue the legacy of helping bring a positive change for medically challenged and terminally-ill children and to continue the education to help stop the neglect and abuse of animals.

This preview site for SHFC was never advertised and the completed website was never opened (and will not be now) due to a major hosting server crash in 2016 after the site construction was completed. The Super Heroes For Children Foundation (SHFC) has now been closed and will soon be replaced by the new Children's Foundation SOCKS (Superheroes Organized for Children and KiDs).

The new foundation is now under construction and will replace in the near future this piece of cyber-history for the Foundation. SHFC was legally registered with the IRS with an EIN as a non-profit Foundation. However during this time of rebranding and legal registration with the State and the IRS, the SHFC or the Atlanta Batman site will be no longer be accepting any more public or private donations until the new SOCKS Foundation website has been completed and released, scheduled for Q4 of 2020.

So in closing, SHFC would like to thank all the people who have donated publicly and privately to the Foundation over the years, the social media followers, the hospitals, the nurses and countless police officers and firefighters who participated in making the Atlanta Batman's navigation through the crowed highways and hallways of the hospitals a much easier task in that bulky, electronic embedded, 60 pounds bat-suit.

Your thoughts, well wishes, and donations have all made it possible for the Atlanta Batman to have been so successful in bringing just a small ounce of pure joy to so many young hearts who are facing a death sentence in most cases from terminal illnesses that gives them pause to try to understand why they are not being given the same opportunity to be able to live a happy life outside of hospital life that most get to enjoy without even thinking about.
